Email from Glitterball
The emails Glitterball sends, why you get each one, and how to stop the ones you don't need
Glitterball sends a small number of emails. Some you need to use the product; the rest you can turn off.
Emails you always get
These are part of signing in and joining teams, so they have no unsubscribe link.
- Sign-in codes. The subject reads "123456 is your Glitterball code". A code works once, for 10 minutes. If you didn't ask for one, ignore the email; nobody can sign in without the code.
- Team invites. Sent when someone invites your email to a team. It names the team and who invited you, and includes a join code. The invite lasts 14 days. See Teams, roles and invites.
Emails you can turn off
- A welcome note after you create your account, with where to start
- Tips in your first week, a few short emails on getting started
- Activity on your walkthroughs and teams. Comments, answers to your questions, who watched, and who joined your team, gathered into one email at most once an hour. A busy review is one email, not twenty.
Every one of these has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing doesn't affect sign-in codes or invites.
Can't find an email
Check your spam or promotions folder, and add Glitterball's sender to your contacts. See Troubleshooting if sign-in codes don't arrive.
